SCX6 Servo-On-Axle Electronics Relocation System Tray | Nasty Customs S.O.A.R.
The Nasty Customs S.O.A.R. (Servo-On-Axle Electronics Relocation System) is designed specifically for Axial SCX6 Servo-On-Axle (SOA) builds that need a better way to manage electronics placement.
Converting your SCX6 to a Servo-On-Axle setup can create packaging challenges fast. The S.O.A.R. tray helps relocate and organize electronics into a cleaner, more functional layout so your rig is easier to wire, easier to service, and better looking overall.
Whether you're building a scale rig, a trail truck, or a fully custom SCX6 SOA crawler, this tray helps create a more intentional chassis setup while freeing up valuable space and reducing clutter.
Each S.O.A.R. tray is 3D printed from CF PETG for a strong, durable, and lightweight solution suited for demanding RC use. The tray is designed with flexibility in mind, giving builders multiple mounting options depending on their setup and preferences.
For mounting, you can use M4 hardware from the inside of the shock towers, or mount the tray using 3M VHB or similar high-bond double-sided tape. For additional secure mounting points, you can flip the upper shock tower cross brace 180 degrees and use the two screw mounting locations for added retention.
The tray also features two small holes at the bottom rear to help promote drainage and reduce water retention in wet conditions.
Built with the function-first approach Nasty Customs is known for, the SCX6 S.O.A.R. Electronics Relocation System tray is a purpose-built upgrade for builders who want cleaner electronics mounting and a more dialed-in final result.
