Part of the B.E.D. — Boxed Equipment Deck family, the Outback is designed for builders who want a cleaner, more complete rear setup than the standard Honcho cage bed. Its styling draws heavily from Australian ute workbeds, while mixing in familiar stateside utility-truck design cues to create something that looks right at home on a big-scale crawler.
The Outback isn't just about changing the silhouette. Functional details include a magnet-latched rear storage drawer, magnetic deck access cover, modular stakesides and rub rails, integrated lighting provisions, and hidden wire management. It mounts using the SCX6's factory rear-cage hardware and retains the stock-style body tilt function for chassis access.
It was also designed from the start as a modular platform. The bed works as a complete system on its own, while additional B.E.D. accessories and expansions are already in development to add more scale detail, functionality, and ways to make each build your own.
Made to order. Limited production slots. We intentionally keep only a small number of Outbacks in production at one time so orders do not disappear into a growing backlog. Most beds are printed, packed, and handed off to the carrier within 5–9 business days. If production slots are full, more open as current beds are completed.
